Indianapolis-Pacers Sports and Entertainment Company today announced the schedule of events for the annual donation season provided by Papa John this year.

During the NBA Cares donation season, teams and players will go out in their communities, hold hundreds of charity events across the country, and bring wonderful vacations to thousands of children and families.

PS&E and Papa John's will hold the following activities throughout the holiday, and once again cooperate in the donation season (November 22 to December 25):

JAKKS Pacific launches holiday toy giveaways from November 22nd to December 17th

For the 12th consecutive year, Walker Sports Entertainment has partnered with JAKKS Pacific to provide another special toy gift for children across the state. On Tuesday, November 23, PS&E and MHS staff will host a special Thanksgiving food distribution event with the Pacers and Fever mascots Boomer and Freddy Fever. The family from IPS #58 will receive a bag of Kroger groceries filled with all the decorations for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. In addition, each family will get a Pacers/Fever Swag bag and the opportunity to take photos with Boomer & Freddy Fever.

IFD Fill the Bell November 26 and December 3 Gainbridge Fieldhouse

The Pacers have partnered with the Indianapolis Fire Department to host Fill the Bell in selected Pacers home games during the donation season.

Fill the Bell helps fund Clothe-A-Child activities next year. In the Pacers home game on November 26 and December 3, IFD firefighters can be seen "keeping the bell." IFD hopes that community members can stop and say hello to the IFD firefighters and help the children donate money.

Every year, as part of the IFD Clothe-A-Child program, children in need are assigned an IFD firefighter to help them buy warm jackets, school clothes and new winter shoes. They eat breakfast with their family (made by firemen), buy clothes, and meet Santa Claus.

Domantas Sabonis came to our house, and the American Food Company provided a dinner on December 2nd

To celebrate the 24th year of this annual holiday tradition, PS&E will welcome 600 men, women and children from the Central Indiana Refuge to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a warm holiday meal. Domantas Sabonis will serve as the official host of this year’s dinner, provided by American Foods. Levy restaurant will prepare meals and all remaining food will be donated to Second Helpings.

The dinner will be held at the entrance pavilion of Gainbridge Fieldhouse from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Team alumni, local media, PS&E staff and event sponsors will assist in providing services to our special guests. Members of Indiana Pacemates, Boomer and Freddy Fever will also help.

In addition to food, guests also have the opportunity to participate in various activities, including interactive games, photo booths, balloon artists, face painters, cartoonists, etc. When guests leave Gainbridge Fieldhouse, they will all receive a Holiday Pack, which includes a variety of cold weather items, including Pacers knit hats, Indiana fanatic earbands, gloves, blankets, towels, etc.

Boomer and Freddy’s Holiday Event December 21st

On Tuesday, December 21st, Pacers and fever mascots Boomer and Freddy Fever, Pacers alumni and Indiana Pacemates will celebrate the holidays with Boomer and Freddy’s holiday gala!

Young people from Windsor Country Park will be invited to DEFY Trampoline Park to spend an evening full of food, fun and surprises. Every child in attendance will fly in this extreme air sports park, get autographs and photos with their favorite mascot, and take home a walker/fever booty bag. As a special surprise, every child in attendance will receive a Simon Shopping Center gift card to help celebrate the season.
